Day 1 - Arrival and Dublin
Arriving in Dublin, meet your private transfer for transport to your hotel where you can store your luggage and collect your Hop-On Tour passes to explore Dublin's many sites.
Day 2 - Ancient East and High Kings
Departing Dublin, journey north through the ancient east with stops at the Loughrew megalithic cairns, which some refer to as “Newgrange before restoration,” and the ancient seat of Ulster province, prominent in many myths and tales at Emain Macha. The day concludes in Belfast. (An alternate day one itinerary would depart Dublin, take the Gobbins cliff walk before arriving in Belfast allowing late afternoon free time in Belfast.)
Day 3 - Belfast - Vestiges of Conflict and The Titanic
Explore the city of Belfast with two attractions. First, join a local step-on guide for a political tour of west Belfast. See the many murals and hear stories from those with firsthand experience from The Troubles, exploring the nationalist area of West Falls and the unionist area of the Shankhill. In the afternoon, visit Titanic Experience Belfast, at the site where the great ocean liner was built and experience what it was like to build the great ship, as well as the experience on board.
Day 5 - Derry
Explore the city of Derry and includes a walk along the city’s historic walls, as well as a visit to the bogside, Free Derry Corner and the Museum of Free Derry. Before concluding for the evening, take a short ride to Grianan of Aileach, site of a well restored stone fort high on a hilltop offering magnificent views.
Day 9 - Depart from Dublin
Your tour ends today after breakfast. (B). For those booking airfare with us, airport transfers will be arranged to allow sufficient time to process through Dublin airport and USA Pre-Clearance for return flights to the USA.
